We detrermine the microbial load first, then test this product for its efficacy againt alcohol based cleaners, soaps, with and without antibiacterial additives and every single time, this product underperforms. In our student lab, washing with only water is jsut as effective as this product. We also test this product by saturating sterile filteration discs and the determining how well it inhibits growth of bacteria on solid media. We test it on Staph and Strep species and it never works. Never. I wouldn't used this product because it doesn't seem to work. Alcohol gels work 100% of the time and are industry standard in health care settings. Wash your hands often, it's THE best way to remove transient microbes from your skin. If you must, use alcohol gel to degerm, you aren't poisoning yourself.
